Crystals ('Rocks')
Crack is a processed form of Cocaine and produces a more intense, though shorter lived high.
It is more addictive and more expensive.
It is a stimuland drug.
METHOD OF USE
Smoked - usually in a pipe or water-pipe.
The two pipes in the photograph are a purpose made one, and one made from a soft drink can, some foil, and a straw. Piles can also be made of glass.
Can also be injected.

Up to life imprisonment and/or a fine.
EFFECTS/SIGNS OF USE
- Rapid onset of symptoms, as for cocaine but quicker
- Extreme euphoria
- Loss of self control
- Dilated pupils
- Agitation
- Aggressive behaviour
- Paper wraps
- Small plastic bags/sachets
- Water or other pipes
DANGERS/RISKS
- High & rapid addiction potential
- Depression of respiratory centre
- Direct toxic action on heart (can be fatal)
- Unpleasant 'comedown' effects once the high wears off
- Particularly dangerous in combination with alcohol
